Before going for a boondocking you should know what do you require in your daily life because that are the things which you will need over there. Make a list of whatever things you need like how many times you wash utensils, shower, etc. Make sure to have a charger and how much you watch TV, etc. Through all these things you will get to make your boondocking experience better.

2: Try to keep your RV or airstream safe while you are boondocking:

It’s a pro tip for all the beginners that boondocking is safe because usually criminals or thieves never venture out inside the forest while looking for anything inside the forest. They are always roaming into highly populated areas where there are many people. If you are too much worried about leaving your RV all alone while you doing boondocking but it is very normal to feel like this because it’s human nature you will feel insecure in less-populated areas.

How to keep your camper protected from getting broken?

To keep your camp protected you guys should camp where there is very less population so the chances of this getting stolen will be lesser than in the other areas and you can enjoy boondocking without any worries. This is an ideal piece of advice to keep your RV protected even if the highway is still visible don’t react crazily for the sake of hiding yourself because none of the thieves would come in that area to steal.

Make your campsite look like it’s being used:

You guys need to put fold-up tables, a BBQ grill, and everything to make it look like someone is inside it and it is being used. None of the people aro8und you will steal these things because if someone is looking to steal anything then it might be cash, extravagant items, etc.

3: Plan boondocking according to the weather conditions:

While you are planning to boondock it’s important to plan the trip according to the weather situation of the certain area where you are planning for it. The weather condition of that place might be 100 degrees or -4 as well so, first of all, you guys have to search for the location and especially it’s the weather condition. Is it fine or not? I would prefer that one should select the place with moderate weather conditions that will be relaxing for every one of us.

4: Find facilities somewhere else:

While you are planning to boondocking search for the places that have amenities like some places has public washrooms but some don’t have them. Some of the camping resorts offer these amenities of the shower, washroom, etc. Otherwise, it would be extremely difficult for you guys because some of the people have even spent their entire vacation without power and all the other facilities.

5:  Don’t tell anyone about all your belongings:

If you will tell anyone about whatever the things you have then t might be dangerous for you because if they are involved with thieves then they will inform them about you and whenever you leave for boondocking they will steal it. Especially about the expensive products like a smartphone or any other device, some people even show off their accessories to fellow RVers which might become something worst for them. So, it is better not to tell anyone about whatever you have such as cash, expensive mobile phones, other devices, cameras, etc.

6: Invest in a portable charger:

The portable charger is an extremely useful device in this modern era and while boondocking it feels like a blessing to have it. So, always keep it with you while boondocking.
